The likes of Coca-Cola and Unilever can’t keep getting away with this.  The numbers speak for themselves: Nearly 50% of all plastic products become waste within just one month of being made. For every 10 plastic items placed in recycling bins, 9 end up in landfills, incinerators, or the ocean. But across Africa, people are rising. We’re calling for a strong Global Plastics Treaty, one that finally holds corporations accountable, stops plastic production at the source, and puts justice for communities and workers at the centre.
