We will deliver this letter to the Africa Delegation at COP30 in person. Scientists and public figures have added their names, now you can join thousands others and add yours.
Africa is on the frontlines of the climate crisis - floods, droughts, and storms are destroying lives and livelihoods. Yet, our people are leading with courage and solutions. COP30 is a test of leadership. We demand action, not promises. That’s why when COP30 kicks off in early November we will be there with a To Do list for the Africa Delegation (full letter below).
🌳 Protect Our Forests
End fossil fuel and extractive projects in the Congo Basin. Fund Indigenous and community-led solutions rooted in ecosystem science, not carbon offset loopholes.
⚡️ Ensure a Just Transition
Deliver grant-based finance for renewable energy, centred on equity, access, and scientific evidence.
💸 Make Polluters Pay
Establish a transparent, non-debt climate finance goal and hold fossil fuel corporations accountable for climate damages.
Africa is not a victim - we are a force for change. Add your name to demand climate justice now.

Stop Ghana from becoming Europe's textile waste dumpsite
Africa has become Europe’s fashion waste dumping hotspot.
Stop Deep Sea Mining
In Africa, where biodiversity flourishes on land and in its surrounding seas, the deep sea is a treasure trove of biodiversity and home to untold wonders and possibilities. It is also one of our best allies against climate change. But a threat is coming: deep sea mining.
Respect The Congo Basin Forest!
The Congo Basin is the second-largest rainforest on Earth after the Amazon. It sustains the lives of millions across Africa, and is home to thousands of plant and animal species many of which are found nowhere else on earth.
