Fight for a Plastic Free Future

Plastic

Let's work to eradicate the overproduction of single use plastic.

Plastic is everywhere in our daily lives, and has spilled over into our oceans and rivers. It has clogged up waterways and is causing severe health hazards in many of our communities.

Overproduction of single-use plastic must end. We’re calling on corporations to stop fuelling our addiction to throwaway plastic, and for governments to hold them accountable. Up to 12.7 million tonnes of plastic ends up in the oceans every year - killing marine life and threatening precious ecosystems.

But it doesn't have to be this way. Let us take action to tackle this problem!

Take the pledge to:

  • Call on local businesses, your favorite restaurants and frequented shops, to phase out the use of single-use plastics.
  • Use less and less single-use plastics in your home, workplace, and schools.
  • Promote alternatives to using plastics.

Let’s rally together to tackle this issue, sign up and be part of the global movement.
