Tweet your leader:
Act now for Africa and the planet

All eyes are on the African Union at the hugely important Africa Climate Summit this week.

The Union could either show courage to ensure Africa leads the world in a transition to 100% renewable, secure and affordable energy, or it could let big oil and extractive industries continue to plunge the planet into disaster after disaster. And back false solutions like carbon offsetting.

Urge the African Union, the host of the summit, William Ruto, and your leader to lead by example, protect African biodiversity, end fossil fuels driving catastrophic climate change and invest in real solutions by shifting to solar and wind.

Stop Deep Sea Mining

In Africa, where biodiversity flourishes on land and in its surrounding seas, the deep sea is a treasure trove of biodiversity and home to untold wonders and possibilities. It is also one of our best allies against climate change. But a threat is coming: deep sea mining.
